The Animal Allies project strives to improve the lives of animals in the Champaign-Urbana community. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work with shelters to care for abused and neglected animals, while advocating for their adoption and continued care. Volunteers can also work within the community to provide educational resources for pet lovers of all ages.

Hobbies: "I enjoy playing tennis, getting boba with friends, and visiting new places."
Why My Project Is the Best: "My project is the best because it is an amazing way to help members of the community who usually can’t help themselves and you get to meet other students who are just as passionate about helping animals as you are!"
Why I love VIP: "I love VIP because it is a great way to make a meaningful impact on our community and create bonds with those living in the area. Additionally, the flexibility and great variety of volunteer opportunities allows all students to participate no matter how busy they are or where their passions lie."
